The “Classic” British Car Show

Now in it’s 31st year, the “Classic” is hosted annually by the BSCCL on the first Saturday of June. Over the years the event has been consistently popular with local owners and fans of British cars. Depending on the year, and of course the weather, there is a turnout of 50 to 60 vehicles covering a wide variety of marques. Cars and spectators are drawn from Southwestern Ontario as well as from Michigan and Toronto areas.

-Open to everyone wanting to show off their car. You do not need to be a member of the BSCCL or any other car club. -Open to all British makes of cars, those that are designed and/or manufactured in the UK. -Show cars, daily drivers, “works in progress” are all welcome whether restored, original or modified -Registration fee of $20 per show car includes a dash plaque (1st 75 vehicles) as well as a ticket for various door prizes. -Registration opens at 9:00am -Spectators and passengers are free.

Nomination ballots are provided to each entrant and provide for the selection of the favorite car in several classes. The submission of ballots will close at approx. 12:00pm with thew awards for winners presented as soon as the tally is complete, usually around 1:00pm

Plaques are awarded for each “Best in Class” winner in each class. There is also a plaque awarded to the “Best in Show” winner.

The Legion will offer for sale BBQ Hamburgers/ Hotdogs/ Fries/ Drinks on the patio.
